Here are some of the ideas and experiments we are going through this second semester in the Creative and Concept Photography class. These are just pegs and ideas to go through with as depending on the resources at hand, we may have to change schedules and concepts along the way.
Supersized Portraits idea came from
Photoshop wizard Cristian Girotto‘s photo series L’Enfant Extérieur (the outer child) takes his subjects’ inner children and brings them, quite literally, to the surface. In the series, Girotto explores what adults would look like if men and women never left the cuteness of infancy — at least in some respects. Each photo, originally captured by photographer Quentin Curtat, shows the subject ‘shopped to look like a toddler.

Projection Photography - this is simple enough but camera angles are very critical in achieving certain looks, and no flash (usually) can be used as it usually kills the ambient light that is projected in the subject. Sometimes 2 Projectors are used if you want to create a background.

Water Wigs -
Los Angeles-based photographer Tim Tadder, whose humorous Fish Head project we recently featured, is back again with another creative photo project based around experiments with water. This time, he found a bunch of bald guys, hurled water balloons at their heads, and then used a laser and sound trigger to capture high speed photographs. The resulting series, titled Water Wigs, shows the models wearing evanescent wigs created entirely of water.
